Holiday 2011-2012 Update

We have some great news and surprises to tell you about this holiday season!

First of all, there's only one Box show left in 2011 in Philly on December/30th with our old friends Brothers Past, so come out early if you're coming! And we're excited to announce the first of many more 2012 Box dates to come, like Boston, Northampton and some ski gigs in ME and VT!

Also, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for all of our side projects this spring, especially Normal Instruments and Reddy Set Joey this January! But best of all, is a brand new project, featuring all 4 members of the Box, plus special guests, performing the music of LCD Soundsystem! We're calling it Dance Yr Box Clean, and there's only plans to do this once, so come to The Wonder Bar in Boston on Wednesday January/25th. It's going to be really fun, so we hope you'll join us!

Wow! the first 6 shows with Jules last week sounded incredible! We had so much fun playing too! As the box prepares to hit the road to Colorado for Halloween (followed of course by Iowa, Chicago and Cincinnati) we thought we'd add some more gigs around the northeast for after the band has returned home.. First of all, please join us for the Box's first gig ever at the Royale (former Roxy) in Boston, on Wed/Nov/16! And the Providence show has moved to Fri/Dec/9 for their first show back in Albany in over a year, on Sat/Nov/19! Don't miss the party!

Indobox bids farewell to Quinn

Friends and Fans,

We have come to a crossroad where founding drummer, Quinn Ferree and the band are going separate ways. Over the past six years Quinn has played an integral role in defining the band's sound and style and his creative influence has helped us to become the band we are today. We wish him the best in all of his endeavors and hope he finds success in music and in life.

Looking forward, the rest of The Indobox plan to perform throughout 2011 and into the future with our good friend, Jules Jenssen on drums. You can find out more about Jules' background and other projects by following these links:

We are excited about this new direction and are looking forward to hearing your feedback on our new sound, so we encourage you to come out to an upcoming show to see for yourself.

Beginning with 5 nights in the northeast the first week of October, followed by a Halloween tour to CO and parts of the midwest, the Box will return home in November to play some more northeast shows.... and of course, a big New Year's Eve gig too!
